“Please do not let yourself be tricked by the way the hotel looks from the OUTSIDE. Even though the terrace and outside setting is ok most of rooms are small, smelly, full of mosquitoes and especially OLD. The hotel for some reason is considered a landmark and for this reason rips off guests at fares totally inadequate for what You get. Pulito per quanto riguarda lenzuola e asciugamani, La struttura denota un certo buon gusto nell’arredo e la volontà di essere moderni, Ma le camere possono andar bene solo per una notte di passaggio. Piccole come i loculi giapponesi, Umidità terribile da dover tenere l’aria condizionata accesa tutta la notte, Senso di claustrofobia. Obbligati a rimanere fuori tutta la giornata.”

“The Katebe Gallery was an amazing place to stay. Right on the beach with a beautiful view of Maputo. The staff are top tier and very friendly and helpful. Only downside (if you could call it that) is that the area is very quiet with not much going on in the evening- and everything requires a taxi across the bridge ”
